Work permit for 6 months A Polish work permit is issued for the duration of an employment contract.

It can only be obtained by citizens of 6 countries: Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.

Work permit up to 1 year
A work permit in Poland is issued for the duration of the employment contract. The term of the employment contract must be at least 1 year for foreign citizens on the territory of Poland.

Work permit up to 3 years
Foreign citizens can apply for a work permit in Poland for the duration of the employment contract, but not more than 3 years, even if the employment contract is unlimited.

If there are grounds, the validity of a work permit in Poland can be extended an unlimited number of times.

Not everyone needs to get a work permit in Poland

  • received refugee status in Poland;

  • emergency workers to perform urgent work;
  • clergymen who are foreigners and temporarily stay in Poland at the invitation of religious organizations to carry out canonical activities;
  • arriving in Poland for teaching or research activities in higher education institutions

      Terms for obtaining a work permit in Poland

      According to Polish law, documents submitted for obtaining a work permit must be considered for up to 30 working days.

      Work visa after a work permit in Poland
