Authorized capital of the company
The authorized capital of an enterprise consists of the nominal value of the shares of its participants, expressed in the national currency of Ukraine.
The size of the share of a company participant in the authorized capital can be additionally determined as a percentage.
At the same time, it must correspond to the ratio of the par value of the share of the participant and the authorized capital of the company.
When registering a limited liability company (LLC), the legislation does not provide for a minimum amount of the authorized capital.
Legal entity tax rates

Legal entities in Ukraine pay taxes, fees and other payments:
- corporate income tax - 18%
- value added tax - 20%
- military tax - 1.5%
- excise duty
- environmental tax
- customs duties
- land tax
- other taxes and fees, in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
Ukrainian companies can be on a simplified taxation system.
It has its own characteristics:
- the maximum amount of income per year does not exceed 185 000$;
- Tax rate of 5% excluding value added tax or 3% + value added tax

A single social contribution is paid for each employee in the amount of 22% of the salary.

Legal entity founders
Individuals and legal entities can be the founder of a company in Ukraine.
It does not matter what country you are a citizen of, or in which country a legal entity is registered that will establish a company in Ukraine.
Minimum number of founders
For registration of an LLC, the legislation does not limit the number of participants.
Thus, both 1 person and 50 people can open a company at the same time.

Director of a Ukrainian company
The following categories of citizens can be a director in a Ukrainian company:
- citizens of Ukraine;
- Foreign citizens who have a permanent residence permit in Ukraine;
- Foreign citizens who have received refugee status on the territory of Ukraine
- Foreign citizens who have issued a work permit in a Ukrainian company.
The founder can be a director
The founder can be the director of an enterprise in Ukraine.
Foreign citizens to work as a director must apply for a work permit in a Ukrainian company.
This requirement does not apply to foreign citizens who have obtained a permanent residence permit in Ukraine or obtained refugee status on the territory of Ukraine.
Residence permit based on business
You can get a temporary residence permit in Ukraine for a company, being a founder or an employee.
Foreign citizens, even in the position of a director, need to obtain a work permit.

Minimum number of employees
In Ukraine, there is no limit on the minimum number of employees in LLC. 1 person can be a founder and director, no employees.
Foreign employees
In Ukraine, there are no restrictions on the number of foreign employees in a Ukrainian company.
To work, they need to obtain a work permit in Ukraine and obtain a residence permit for work.
Work permit for foreign employees
A work permit for foreign citizens and stateless persons in Ukraine can be issued for a period of: 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years.
This requirement does not apply to foreign citizens who have obtained a permanent residence permit in Ukraine or obtained refugee status on the territory of Ukraine.
Residence permit for employees
A temporary residence permit in Ukraine on the basis of work for foreign citizens is issued for the period of validity of a work permit.
